Thanks to ACtoys we have new images of the upcoming Junkion Blacksmith Generation 1 Devastator upgrade kit, JB-07. This kit appears to eliminate the need for any of the original G1 Constructicon accessory pieces needed to form Devastator.

Take a look at all the new images after the break!

BTS Toys have shared with us some images of their next sets of releases. Next from them are two two packs of cassette-robots. BTS-05A will consist of the not-Rumble & Frenzy named Tremor and Frequenzy. BTS-05B will consist of not-Ravage & Ratbat, named Savage and Nightfang respectively. Each of the four bots will turn into minicassette tapes compatible with the original Soundwave or the BTS-04 Sonicron.

Frequenzy and Tremor are the Frenzy & Rumble styled cassettes of the group. As well as turning into cassettes, they come with "batteries" which can transform into their piledrivers - not shown in these images are that the piledriver barrels can extend for full ground-pounding style. Tremor & Frequenzy will be available in three versions, each set exclusive to a particular region:

The first set are a Generation 1 Rumble & Frenzy inspired set, a limited run of 1000 pieces. These are confirmed to be exclusive to North America.
A second set will be Tremor & Frequenzy "Mirror" versions, based on the Shattered Glass concept.
A third set have been dubbed the "Workaholics" and will be in Constructicon colors.

The latter two sets will be available as Asia & Europe and China regional exclusives, although we cannot yet confirm which set will belong to which region. Asia & Europe get a limited run of 1000 pieces, while China's will be limited to 888 sets of BTS05A.

BTS-05B, the Savage and Nightfang set, will also be a limited run set of 1000 pieces. Of interest is that Nightfang - "not-Ratbat" - can combine with Frequenzy or Tremor in the style of the 1990s European Action Masters to form a humanoid bat mode. Savage meanwhile can equip the "battery" piledriver components from Frequenzy or Tremor.

Read on to check out all of the images that we have received from BTS.

The Transformers Ride info continues to roll in! Tonight we have a , courtesy of youtube user, BIGBEARSG. This video is a full walkthrough of the que area, where fans will get to wait in line to experience the ride. In this video you get to see each room, plus nearly all the pre-show videos which help tell the story of the Transformers universe. Ironhide, Rachet, Wheelie, Optimus, and EVAC all join in to tell the story. Which means this ride takes place right after Revenge of The Fallen, despite some footage from Dark Of The Moon being shown. You also see the gift shop and cafe that were built near the exit as well as a quick look at the EVAC ride vehicles in action.

This surely is an exciting time to be a Transformers fan. Seldom do we get to experience something that actually puts us inside the Transformers Universe. The Transformers Ride at Resorts World Sentosa in Universal Studios Singapore will open on December 3rd.

Time for some Hercules news! This behometh is lurking on the horizon of being fully completed. Some new images have popped up over the last week in our extremely popular Hercules Mega Thread courtesy of weibo.com/jeffyzhong. First up is an image of Hercules utilizing two Exgraver arms and two Structor legs. This picture gives us a great sense of scale, especially with voyager Classics Optimus having his head crushed in the picture. Additionally, there are pictures of Hercules holding Dr. Cranks crane as a weapon, Structor in vehicle mode with his wings deployed and some prototypes of their World War 2 Power Core Combiner Drones.

Take a look at all the pictures after clicking the title bar and then join the Hercules Mega Thread to discuss!

Keroro Gunso (aka Sgt. Frog) Transformers Crossover? Yes, for real! The next issue of Kero Kero Ace magazine in Japan, released on December 26 2011, will come with an exclusive green recolor of the old Legends Class Starscream toy, dubbed "Keroroscream". This is certainly one of those weirder Japanese exclusive releases that'll probably only appeal to some areas of the fandom, but it's pretty cool as far as bright green fighter jet toys go.

Credit to Snakas for the original news report. Also check out this Wikipedia article to learn more about Sgt. Frog, which is where the deco of this Starscream is inspired from.

Time for another gallery update, and we've got something different and special for you tonight. Here for your enjoyment is a gallery of the Sci-Fi Revoltech Movie Optimus Prime! Revoltech is a line of anime and movie figures by Japanese manufacturers Kaiyado, specializing in a high degree of accuracy to the original design and high levels of poseability. The Sci-Fi sub-series takes this concept and applies it to the great characters of the silver screen, such as Alien, Predator and Batman. Optimus Prime from the live-action movies has received the Sci-Fi Revoltech treatment and as these images submitted by 2005 Boards member Russian fan demonstrate, he looks rather fantastic! Opening this Saturday at Universal Studios Singapore is Transformers the Ride! This ride, featuring the voice talent of Peter Cullen as Optimus Prime and with Michael Bay in the role of creative consultant takes audiences into the world of the Transformers live action movie series - a world transformed, where things are not as they seem!

All joking and quotes from the 80's Marvel comic aside, the ride is shaping up to be the definitive Transformers theme park experience. The ride will feature more than 10 Transformers including Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Sideswipe, Wheelie, Megatron, Ravage, Sideways, Grindor, Bonecrusher, Starscream and the awesome Devastator. Audiences will also be introduced to the new Transformer Evac.

A new video has been posted to Youtube which talks about the creative process behind the ride and shows some of the highlights, including a couple of clips of Devastator on the attack and a scene where the audience are "pulled" through a building - which must be a real experience in 3D! Check it out below.

Some in-hand images of the Dark of the Moon repack of the Movie series Buster Optimus Prime and Jetfire two pack have surfaced over at HK-TF courtesy of HKGolden Cybertron. These images confirm this set is a little different from a straight out repack of the Jetfire and Buster Optimus Prime from the previous Revenge of the Fallen two pack - while the Jetfire is more or less the same, the Buster Optimus Prime does not feature the gold chrome of the original two pack, but the silver of the original Buster Optimus Prime release (but with the faceplate head of the original Revenge of the Fallen Leader - phew!). This small fact means that this is probably the best version of the two pack out there, with the accurate and premium level deco on Buster Optimus Prime, plus the GLORY OF JETFIRE!

A small teaser for the upcoming reveal of Transformers: Fall of Cybertron is now online. The full trailer based on the Opening Cinematic of the game is to debut this December 10th on Spike TV for the annual Video Game Awards. High Moon Studios/Activision pulled off the same stunt for Transformers: War for Cybertron; the predecessor of FOC and left fans drooling for the release.

Visual Effects Supervisor Scott Farra recently sat down with BBC to briefly discuss some of his experiences with his involvement in Transformers: Dark of the Moon. He discusses the chase scene with Bumblebee and the Dreds, taking careful note of all the detail as well, the movement of the Dreds, and how "cool" the whole scene turned out. Mr. Farra also explains just exactly what his job is and how he works with others. From concept to conception, he is thrilled to be a part of the whole process, he says.

You can watch the interview by going to BBC's website here.

The latest masterpiece Transformer to hit Japan is the Destron Doppleganger Black Rodimus Convoy. A dark reflection of Hot Rod and the latest entry into the trend of evil black repaints for Rodimus, this guy is an E-Hobby exclusive with a very cool take on the Black Rodimus. 2005 Boards member GENgoraw has shared some very nice sharp pics of this toy, check them out! The pics include several great comparison shots with the first release version of the mold, Masterpiece Rodimus Convoy, so you can get a good feel for how the two stack up against each other.

Chinese BBS site Toys Pie (great name!) has uploaded some images of a new Classics Bumblebee customisation kit. These replacement heads convert a Classics Bumblebee into Bumper or Hubcap, and are a suitable alternative if you are not able to get the Renderform versions for any reason. They are by a new third party group called MGS.

Also on the link are images of a KO version of the Perfect Effect God Sword / Matrix Blade - are not even unlicensed third party products immune to being knocked off? Apparently not as rumors abound about KOs of FansProject Causality Insecticons and even the Maketoys Battle Tanker being passed off as the real deal.

The buzz might be all about Transformers Prime toys and this big chap named Hercules lately - but Dark of the Moon is not yet done! The Wal-Mart exclusive Cyberverse "Ultimate" Gift Set has been quietly popping into stores all over the place (so quietly we're not exactly sure when or where it first popped up...)

The set consists of recolors of Autobots Optimus Prime, Powerglide, Sideswipe and Bumblebee, all of whom stand united against the lone Decepticon Crowbar. Perhaps the "Ultimate" in the set name refers to the scale of the beating Crowbar's going to get?

Keep up to date with the latest new findings in your area in our Transformers Sightings board.

HEADS UP! An e-mail has been sent out from Transformers Collectors Club giving an update on BotCon 2012! Location and dates for the convention will be announced in the next few days. At the time the location will be announced, you will be able to make your hotel reservations. Convention registration will not start for several weeks after this.

To further speculation about where the location will be, Botcon has said this over Twitter: It will NOT be in 95% of all your backyards. Odds are you will need to drive or fly

Keep checking back on TFW2005 and we'll keep you udpated on all the upcoming Botcon news!

Some more new third party product images have been posted over at Toys Pie. First, from Dr Wu, is an image of the prototypes for their Universe Hound Gun and Ravage missiles. These are coming in at least three versions according to the picture, a silver set, a black gun / white missiles set, and a set of blue gun and blue missiles, probably for the Botcon Turbomaster with Shattered Glass Ravage.

To one side, there's also a City Commander head. Coincidence, or are Dr Wu carrying on their trend of new heads / faces for FansProject armors...?

A separate thread shows off a PVC figure of Season 3 and Headmasters human sidekick Danial Witwicky. Unlike the official SCF PVC, this Danial is rendered in his 2006 jumpsuit (I don't remember seeing kids wearing them back then...) This Danial Witwicky is scaled to be roughly knee-high against Classics Rodimus - which is about as in scale as a human PVC character is ever going to be.

Proving that it's not just Transformers Dark of the Moon that is picking up the awards nominations!

Transformers Prime has received a nomination for "Best Kids Animated Series" in the 2012 Kidscreen awards. Transformers Prime is running against Rated A For Awesome and The Amazing World of Gumball. The winners of the awards will be announced on 9 February 2012.

Can Transformers Prime scoop up another award and win recognition as the quite frankly awesome series that it is?
