This trailer looks really, really good. I'm rather impressed so far. There's not only a sense of epic scale, but also a real sense of tragedy about, especially in regards to the fate of Thundera. I'm very curious to learn more about the series writers, and to see just how strongly the writing for this series will hold up.

Larry Kenny still sounds fantastic! I'd love to know who's playing Jaga; I wasn't expecting his voice to sound so deep. I'd also kind of like to know why Panthro still hasn't made an appearance; I'm starting to wonder if they have something special planned for him.

The animation itself looks fantastic; it's very fluid and smooth! I also like the color palette so far.

Finally, I realize this is very trivial, but, I noticed that Slythe didn't add on a drawn-out "Yes", to the end of his line. I do wonder if that's a character trait that they will be retaining, or dropping; personally, I never really could figure out if it annoyed me or not.

Also, was it Mumm-Ra who spoke during that sequence with the purple blast? If so, I couldn't really make out what was spoken, if, indeed, it was speech, and not sound effects.

I really liked the pacing of the trailer; the way the Thundercats Rally Cry was spaced out was nicely done.

The music at the end was simply awesome. I sincerely hope, that that, is what the new theme will sound like. I love orchestral versions!

Actually, I thought the voice of Jaga was very Christopher Lee like, perhaps it is the same voice actor who voices Count Dooku in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars cartoon?

Woofa. Perfect.

Love the music play at the end. Horns and even the organs under it.

I keep waiting for something to make me go "eh, not digging that" - but so far hasn't happened.

I thought so too, which I would love. The trailer has me feeling nostalgia like I haven't felt in a very long time. Someone mentioned the color palette, and I too agree. It feels and looks just right. I mentioned the palette too when we saw the first teaser trailer, and this one keeps on reminding me of 80s, early 90s anime. Really takes me back.

THUNDERCATS, HOOOO!

I just posted something similar in the other thread; the voice actor you're referring to would be the highly talented Corey Burton, who I'm betting is playing Jaga. Mr. Burton does an excellent Christopher Lee voice, and has a very wide range, meaning if it is him, he'll probably be playing a number of other characters as well.

Hopefully, a full cast list will be announced soon!

Same thing here. I've yet to be disappointed with anything they've shown us. This has been a great surprise so far. It reminds me of how much I loved He-Man 2K2. I wasn't disappointed with that one either.

Not at all, I do as well. They were already one of my favorites, but at Wondercon when we finally saw their pics, the crowed actually awwwed at them.

The Mutants had mecha in the old series, too. I saw those and immediately the Plun-darrian Warbot came to mind.

Me too. Kit was my favorite from the original show, so I've been waiting to see how they'd redesign them for this. Happy to say they look really great!
