Very cool. I like your YouTube video that showcased the new and original sword by the way.

I have one of these Halloween swords, but I still need to repaint it. If it looks even half as good as yours turned out...then I"ll be very happy.

I hope your auction does well for you.

Thanks guys! I really apperciate the positive feedback and compliments! The sword was SO crappy that it was laughable. I really didnt think they were gunna be THAT bad. I ended up spending more on supplies (bondo, sand paper, paint etc..) then the sword lol!! If companys would just be a bit more design cautious, they could charge way more.

And thanks Reaper for checking out the youtube video! It was my first review too, hope down the line I can make more!

This might sound funny, but your watch wrist band is what made me go "Is this the same guy who did the Sword of Omens video? You don't see too many people wearing them anymore, so after re-watching the video...and noticing that the names matched up, I figured that it had to be you. lol

I was hoping for a video for this sword though. Maybe you can do one for it, and show all three swords? My local stores never had the new Sword of Omens (or the Halloween sword), so I had to go with Amazon. Your video really showcased how cool the new sword from the latest cartoon was made, so I felt good with my blind purchase. Thanks for that also by the way. Amazon made a sale because of your video.

Just to let people know how crappy the paint is for the actual product...I took some pictures of the sword (that I posted on another Thundercats forum, but I can show them here as well).

Christ, dont remind me of that sword........ lol, getting the writing and crap wich was raised a bitch and a half cause to make it flush it gets so thin, you have to rebuild it.

Yeah some day im going to get around to showing off my full thundercats collection, once I ditch other crap and can pull it all from storage so I have room. I have everything LJN ever made including the big wheel lol, some prototypes, rarities and nearly every odd and end around...... though the soakies still are MIA from my collection. Grrrrrrr

Lower than I hoped, but still made a small profit. For how much it went for im putting the dagger version on hold for quite a while. Market seems to be dying

At least you didn't lose money, which is always good.

A Dagger version? I'm curious. Was a Dagger version made recently, or were you going to make your own? If it is the latter, then were you going to make one from the Halloween Sword?

I still need to work on my Sword...

Dagger would be a complete rebuild, I had plans to use the handle and eye structure of the rubies sword and custom sculpt the blade, eye and hilt arms. For the hours it would take to build and not being sure on final sales price id be worried to commit myself unless there was already interested parties ya know?

With the last sword I had to rebuild a ton of the odd holes and huge paint bubbles and chucks missing with bondo, with time and supplies id say I broke even. The dagger would have to probably fetch somewhere in the 150 range, but id be going balls to the wall to make it epic!

The first one was smooth and had a very stable body, the second one (I only was making two) was a nightmare and the body is mostly reshaped by hand and id grade it a 8.8 outta 10 (it was BRUTAL), that I was going to make a complete custom called "THE KING OF THUNDERA SWORD". Most of it was going to be chrome, brass and a reversed logo with chains from the hilt to the blade. Mostly to be used as a art piece... I might still go through with that one as I know some people like custom art and fancy eye catching stuff (Not me personally, I like cartoon accurate)

Wow...a complete rebuild huh? I would love to see how it turns out (if you do one).

I can understand the high price tag, since doing work like this takes a long time...and requires skill in order to make it look right, but I don't have that kind of play money for something like that (even though I wish that I did). If things change though, I'll let you know immediately.

The "King" Sword sounds interesting, but I also like the accurate versions more. I'm sure that it would sell, since it would be a unique version of the Sword of Omens.
