I really wish I could afford to have one - this is the first time I've seen the packaging and I have to say it's awesome, love how it's the same them as Lion-O but evil. The Lion-O and Mumm-Ra side by side look sooooo good.

Count me in! To all the UK heads...since I just moved here from the US...what stores, if any, over here might carry this Mumm-ra? I visited "Forbidden Planet" in Cambridge this past weekend and they had the mega-scale Lion-o so there perhaps? Any other spots I should keep on the radar? Thanks in advance!

Much appreciated! I'm surprised (and delighted!) that anyone remembers Prime Evil any more...

Indeed, these guys are hiding out in my Wonderful World of Animation...

But not to stray off-topic from MUMM-RA, THE EVER-LIVING!!!, so I digress...

Kinda funny, I actually think the cel I have is from the same sequence as yours!!

PS - its funny, DCP it looks like Mumm-Ra is touching his weiner from the box to the toy...... oh childish humor never fails!

Actually the best part of that is not going to TRU in general. That place never has anything good.

If you do a comparison to other places that sell the same toys it's amazing to see the markup that TRU puts on toys. It's sad really.

dpcphoto,
My girl friend noticed the case in the pictures is from FYE and the pic's appear to have been taken at an FYE store. She works at the local FYE here and found the case in the back of her own store. She let me cherry pick the nicest figure from the case and is going to bring the shipping box home, so I can store my Mezco Thundercats in it. AWESOME!

Keep an eye out at your local FYE for Mezco Mumm-ra. He's out NOW and is selling for $30.

They do mark up quite a bit, especially LEGOs. However, they also have a pretty good rewards club and have incredible sales. I picked up quite a bit when they had ThunderCats B1G1 free a few months back. Good times. I go to my local TRU at least once a week. I rarely buy much of anything at their normal full price though. Only if it is something hard to find.

How tall is this Mumm-ra? Any chance you could snap a photo with the 8" Classics Lion-o?

Okay, finally got him home, unboxed him, assembled him, and got out my 8" Classics Lion-O for some pictures. Sorry it's just on the kitchen table, but that was the only well-lit place with a clear spot... lol

And yes, you heard me right... assembled him! He's so tall that he doesn't fit in the box! You have to put his legs on him, drape his cape over him, and arrange the bandages however you'd like.

Very cool figure!! I love it! It's going to look great next to the 14" Lion-O.

In my opinion, the 8" Lion-O is a bit small for scale and the 14" Lion-O is quite a bit large for scale. That doesn't bother me though. These are great display pieces and will look grand on the shelf. Here's to hoping we get all the cats in Mezco mega scale!

I appreciate you doing that. Such an awesome figure but sadly you're right abut the scale issues. I think Mezco is our best bet right now of getting the entire cast.

I went looking on YouTube for a review of him to post here to show articulation and lo and behold, there isn't one. If I get a chance, I'll do a mini-review and show off his articulation and post it in the next couple days =o)
