Love it! I think I'll wait and hope that TRU prices it like they did Lion-O... $24.99.

Will be buying this for sure. I liked (but didn't love) the Mega Scale Lion-O. But this one looks near perfect for me.

I'll wait for this to hit TRU like the Lion-o did

Didn't know it was going retail and shelled out an extra $20 between the mark-up and shipping.

Agreed. Hopefully, like Lion-O, this is at Toys "R" Us for $25.

I pre-ordered this guy, but will keep a look out for him to pop into TRU and then cancel if need be. I never did see that mega-scale Lion-O in my local TRU however. For those of you who purchased via brick and mortar retail, when in relation to the online pre-ordering timeframe given, did it actually arrive in stores?

Looks very nice, but I'd like to have a breakdown on the "Multiple Points of Articulation" first.

Really? Have you seen the 14" Lion-O?? HE'S HUGE!@!

I would think the Mumm-Ra would be a tad big/out of scale with the 8" lion-O.?

Yeah, here's a shot I took of the two Lion-O's together for scale reference.

Perfect for the "last day" mumm-ra if you use it against the vintage mini's from kidworks.

Ha, yeah, thanks guys. I came across a flickr set that had some comparisons and ... wow. On paper, it doesn't seem like it'd be that different, but yeah, it is.

Depending on the price at TRU, and how he looks in-person, I might actually get this guy. While I know he's massively out of scale, I think he and my 8" Lion-O would display nicely together. Would make for a nice dramatic battle scene between the two of them....though I'm probably overthinking this, and mostly just looking for an excuse to have a Mumm-Ra to go with the Lion-O I already own, rather than go out and buy him at the new scale...

I haven't been to TRU in quite some time, so I still haven't seen the Mesco Lion-O in-person yet, but there always seems to be something...off about him in pictures I've seen. Mumm-Ra on the other hand looks like pure win.

Since Mezco apparently wants to do as many characters as they can, I really hope Panthro is the next one they do, and that they eventually get a Monkian out.
