I found this variation of Lion-o and Tygra classics today. It's minor but noticable. Bandai just put the characters name on the lower right side of the bubble. I also just noticed that there is a new plastic tray inside the bubble that holds the figures head in place from the front. Has anyone else found these?

Nice! I guess the new packaging details will be used for the next waves, so that will make the first release Lion-o and Tygra more valuable in years to come.

Yeah I wasn't sure if it was worth getting the name logo ones either, but I love these new figures and I'm a crazy variant collector, so I just went ahead and got them.

Rather than start a new thread I searched and found this one! It is related so hopefully I'm not stepping on toes.

I've recently received both Lion-O and Tygra as a gift but have noticed a packaging variation. Both seem to be the UK/Euro style, but there's quite a few differences. Firstly the name/no name printed on the front, the difference in hanger at the top and the number of languages the text is in. Lion-O has the text in 5 languages while Tygra in 3. Also, Lion-O packaging features units in centimetres, while Tygra in inches. There are a few other differences which you can see from the photos.

Can anyone shed any light on these?

In the US, they were both released without names and then released with names on the front. No other differences that I am aware of. I don't know anything about non-US releases.

No worries! I was aware of the no name/name printing but not the other differences. I'm just a bit stumped as I've no idea what packaging each of them is!
