May I recommend hitting up Mark at Fantastic Plastic in Iowa.
He receives Tygra's every Friday.
Mark is an active member on the Thundercats Now board and Facebook pages. When I found out he had Tygra's last week I asked him if he'd be interested in trading for a Darth Malgus figure and some cash. Mark was nice enough to do an even trade with me and I received Tygra in less than 3 days.
He's just a real nice dude and he'll help you out.
I told him I'd recommend him here. I can't guarantee you all to have the same results as I had but he has Tygra's and gets them every week, he's super nice, trustworthy, and he's obviously open to trades.
Good luck guys.

Damn, that sucks. Looks like Big Bad is the last hope for those in need of Tygra.

I placed an order about 3 weeks ago with them and they emailed me that they got them again this week. It pays to preorder with them. They're taking them again now.

I think the "fairest" price for a Tygra would be to go in with a member here or another friend and pre-order a case from BBTS. After shipping it's about $73 for the case. That's $36.50 each and you each get a Tygra and either a Lion-O or a Cheetara. Or, sell the Lion-O and Cheetara on eBay to lower the price of the Tygras for you each. That's my suggestion. You'll pay far more for a Tygra than $36.50 if you go to eBay or similar. eBay is $50-75 right now.

For anyone who is interested, since 6" Tygra is still hard to find.

The 6" Modern Bandai Tygra has not been seen at any brick and mortar store. If you are not mistaken, this would be pretty huge news. Please attack a picture if you're able to find them in a store.

My bad, I thought it was about the normal 4" version. I hadn't seen the 6" before, heck didn't even know there was one. sorry for the confusion

I'm in the same boat. $19.99 for that case would be pretty awesome though. *fingers crossed*

As hard as Slithe is to get...the extra cost is worth it knowing he is on his way to my house as we speak.

I placed my order for Slithe when he was on backorder and they shipped him out the next day. Maybe you'll get lucky too.

The Tygra case is now "SOLD OUT"... not "backordered" or "preorder" like it has gone before... that doesn't seem like a good sign.

I bought a spare 6" tygra (UK) at retail price as he seems to be in plentiful supply over here from midco. He arrived today and he's actually got the UK sticker on the back from Bandai UK so they must be dispatching from bandai's uk warehouse as opposed to someone with dodgy connections getting them from america (hopefully we might be seeing him in stores soon)

still no sign of slithe though :-( the missing piece to my modern thundercat puzzle lol

The modern 6" Tygra? I don't think so. Maybe the 4" modern or the 8" classics. There have been no confirmed sightings of the modern 6" Tygra in any brick and mortar retailer. Only a couple Internet retailers and eBay. $35 shipped is a very good price. Just look at eBay.

Yes, the 6 inch modern Tygra. You must not have seen my thread right below this one, here's a link:

http://www.thundercats.ws/6-inch-tyg...-5-99-a-23941/

I even took a picture because I expected this reaction.

You can go ahead and pay $35 if you want to I guess. I was much happier paying $5.99.
