I just caught this on the Thundercats facebook page. It shows in what looks like an official manner all the thunderlynx features of the current line.

Sound design by Basement Fanboy? I thought it was fan made at first, the background and lighting are pretty cool, but the 22 year old wizard voice just isn't working.

Yeah I saw it a few weeks back. The narrator is really bad. I would've thought it was fan made too, but it was posted on Bandai's twitter and that's bandai's youtube, and it's on a page on Bandai's site as well, so it's official.

Yeah, the official nature caught me off guard too, but I like how they show off the features. Makes a couple of my passes turn into buys now.

the set is nice...

...otherwise this has to be a fan video. The narration is cheesy, the camera is wobbly, the Grune Photoblur is terrible. Bandai would have used the correct Grune. The special effects dont seem finished...

this is not a Bandai made video.

Except that it is.
Thunder Lynx - ThunderCats

Bandai america at least. Made for their website which explains the lower production values. It's also taken straight from the bandaiamerica youtube account.

Yes I know it it came right from Bandai...I just ment its a pretty poor production to have been made by a large company such as Bandai. Maybe the CEO gave his son a weekend project??

ThunderCats ThunderLynx Demo Videos - ThunderCats

Or it's just for the toys website. So production values were low to nonexistant, since they only expect kids to visit it or parents helping their kids see it. Not the same as what they'd spend on say a tv commercial for the toys. The profesional grade material you're talking about is generally contracted out to be made. This looks like it was completely done in house.
