ACToys has posted a couple of images of Transformers: Dark of the Moon Leader Class Bumblebee.
Also we are treated with a size comparison of Voyager Optimus Prime and Deluxe Starscream against a Reveal The Shield Mindset toy packaging. Judging by the comparison, both figures looks as though approximately 6 inches tall. Take a look at the images and leave a thought. |

BotCon is teasing the Transformers fans with info from the upcoming BotCon 2011.
It all started with… “BotCon 2011 convention set theme reveal is almost here. Big hint in issue 37 of the Transformers Collectors' Club Magazine.” Followed by… “Just realized SO many stories and/or TF continuities (as a whole) were told in installments/seasons of 3... Well, get ready for Season 3.5!” Answering a fan question, BotCon said… “Kind of. Hint as to where the story will take place, but the theme within the story, the set make up, soon.” When asked “What series? G1? BW? TFA?” the answer was… “maybe, maybe and maybe.” Just moments ago he revealed the Official Logo of BotCon 2011 via his FaceBook Page. And to answer your question… “Yup. BotCon is a real boy!” |

What an exciting 24 hours that was… Transformers Fans worldwide tried to solve the mysterious theme behind this year’s BotCon. Using hints given by Twitter BotCon, everyone had so much fun trying to findout the answer.
Is the Answer Transformers: Animated? BotCon updated his Twitter page with… “Veloxiraptor at TFW2005 nailed it. Cats out of the bag. Set ≠ expected” It seems as though 2005 Boards member Veloxiraptor who said “"the figures will be very Animated", with a capital A. Pretty darn blatant”, got the answer after a fun filled search throughout last day or so. The tweet was quickly followed by… “BotCon 2011 will feature Transformers Animated...” and... "DerrickJWyatt was instrumental in BotCon 2011 Convention set. Every Animated fan will want this set! More details to come at www.botcon.com" Congratulations Veloxiraptor! |

The image is tiny, but from the looks it kind of resembles Transformers Classics 2.0 Legends Class Warpath. |

More images of Transformers: Dark of the Moon Leader Class Bumblebee and Deluxe Class Starscream has surfaced thanks to TransMY.
Information from that site tells us that there were no electronic equipment present inside Bumblebee figure. But, electronics were present inside the Mechtech Weapon System as revealed by Red Leader of 2005 Boards. Shorter than Battle Ops Bumblebee, it is said that Leader Bumblebee features the head sculpt from its Human Alliance version. It is also said that Leader Class Bumblebee is much more screen accurate. Regarding Deluxe Class Starscream, TransMY says that he carries very little underbelly robot kibble when in his Vehicle Mode (F-22 Raptor). |

TransMY has posted some images of upcoming Transformers: Dark of the Moon Voyager Class Optimus Prime in various poses.
Onizuka of TransMY (the person who took the photos) says that though the figure is criticized, “the Voyager feels very sturdy when handled and has more points of articulation compared to Battle Blades Prime. The chest is not a faux cab, instead it is an armor plating covering the cab windows.” He has also posted a side-by-side comparison with Transformers: Hunt For The Decepticons Voyager Class Battle Blades Optimus Prime. |

Remember the Transformers: Dark of the Moon Deluxe Class Bumblebee figure? What would you think if you saw a real life Chevrolet Camaro drive past you with a life-size Mechtech gun?
Well, here it is. From the looks, it seems as though a campaign for the upcoming Transformers 3 movie. Takara-Tomy Toy Forum brings us this photo. Behind the vehicle, we can spot what looks like a render of third Transformers Live Action Movie Bumblebee. Notice the vinyl on the hood (robot mode), it’s the new vinyl rather than the double striped ROTF vinyl. |

First on the list is Transformers: The Complete All Hail Megatron (Hardcover). Up until now, Transformers: Dark of the Moon Junior Novels were named just “Transformers 3”. Today the books were given the official title AND subtitles. If you want to find out, continue on reading. Hasbro have sent us, on the back of the UK Toy Fair 2011, our very first official images from Transformers Dark of the Moon. Here for your enjoyment are official images of the Voyager Class Ironhide and the Deluxe Class Starscream. Both are completely new molds (no more rehashed 2007 Movie Voyager Ironhide, great toy that he was) and both feature Mechtech weapons. Ironhide has a new variation on his cannons, while Starscream gets a pair of weapons with fold out blades, which can dock into the largest melee weapon that a Deluxe class Transformer has wielded since Transformers Energon's Starscream and his giant sword. Read on to check out the images.

GUNG's Borchitect, posting on the Jizai Toys website, have confirmed that for this year's Winter Wonderfestival they will be doing a limited run reissue of their nanoscale Predaking and Arcee, plus a recolored version of their nanoscale Ultra Magnus as Powered Convoy. For those not familiar with GUNG's Borchitect's work, they make resin kits of classic Generation 1 Transformers characters in the "World's Smallest Transformable Collection" scale. These third party items are produced under a one-day license from Takara-Tomy and are sold in kit form, so if you are lucky enough to acquire one, some assembly will be required. They are nice and cool kits, though.
Also on the subject of Winter Wonder Festival items, Jizai Toys themselves have confirmed that for Winter Wonder Festival 2011 they will be doing a limited run re-release of their Powerglide kit, limited to 40 pieces. If you are not familiar with their Powerglide, check out his page in our Resources section - he's a show-accurate and highly poseable piece, in a smaller scale (smaller than a Scout when fully assembled). Because of this he is quite desirable on the secondary market. |

Check out some up close and personal shots of the Bumblebee Camaro from the Transformers movies! TFW2005 was able to attend a pre-opening screening of GM products for the Philadelphia Auto Show this morning, thanks to Scott Settlemire of GM and his Camaro5 / CamaroZ28 community outreach.
On display was an actual in-movie version of Bumblebee as seen in Transformers Revenge of the Fallen. We took a detailed photo shoot of it for you guys, so check it out by reading on. No, there was no Transformers 3 version, nor any other Transformers related GM product there. While this isn't ground breaking news and it has been seen before many times, we figured some pretty Camaro shots are still worth a look-see. Enjoy! |

Board member tarZen has shared his views on the recently released Targetroids TFC EX-004 from TFClub. A few tidbits:
Just got these. Robot modes are not bad, very poseable with the liberal use of ball joints (which are just the right tightness). The gun modes are rubbish though. They are not so much transformers as they are extremely flexible humanoids. I suppose the other two figures in this set are better in this respect; you can clearly see the robot modes when these are transformed. Very unimaginative. There's a new Transformers upgrade kit in the works. This time out, it is for Transformers Animated Arcee. The "ARX-01 Polaris" set consists of a new, Generation 1 styled head and a handgun for Animated Arcee. The look is a bit incongruous with the look of the smooth, stylized Animated Arcee - but it is not completely wrong and might help make Animated Arcee gel with a Classics collection. There are also Blurr / Chromia and Elita-1 versions pictured, although they might be custom versions to show the potential of the set. These images come courtesy of TOYNIRVANA.COM.
You can preorder the kit from our sponsors Big Bad Toy Store. It is $34.99, although judging by the images, it is probably painted resin, which goes some way to explain the cost. Also be sure to check out this video of the set: |

This time for the Superbowl XLV, Transformers Fans are going to be treated with not one but TWO TV Spots promoting the upcoming movie Transformers: Dark of the Moon.
While the regular Transformers 3 Superbowl Trailer goes live on 6th February this year, Chevrolet says that they will air a second commercial promoting both Chevrolet Camaro and Transformers: Dark of the Moon. The Camaro spot will double as a commercial for the coming movie “Transformers: Dark of the Moon,” which will also be promoted in a commercial from the film’s studio, the Paramount Pictures division of Viacom said Chris Perry, vice president for United States marketing at the Chevrolet parent, General Motors in Detroit — Chevrolet will run its spots, in the first, second and fourth quarters, to persuade car and truck buyers to give the brand the kind of consideration it enjoyed in previous decades and urge viewers to stay tuned for a spot to run in an episode of the Fox series “Glee” after the game. The five Chevrolet spots, by Goodby, Silverstein & Partners in San Francisco, part of the Omnicom Group, will promote four models; Camaro, Cruze Eco, Silverado HD and Volt. Fun fact : We saw these commercials being filmed on a Transformers 3 movie set during the production days. Remember? News Post Photo Courtesy: Nelson Lauren of Michael Bay.com |

Some cryptic images have surfaced of BTS Toys next release, BTS-04. The alternate mode silhouette was posted previously on their last release, but what we have this time is a shadowy picture of that alternate mode and a silhouette of the robot mode. Yes, BTS has graduated from accessory kits to making full scale Transformers! The eagle-eyed among you figured out that this is a take on the MP3 player Soundwave designed by Guido Guidi for All Hail Megatron (scan from Guido's Deviant Art account is attached to this story, cheers to Greenscream for linking us to it). How will it measure up to the impressively high benchmark set by other third party groups like FansProject? Only time will tell! For now, check out these images.

TVGuide.com has updated with some one-sentence summaries of upcoming Transformers Prime episodes. These listings reveal that episode 6, Masters and Students, will introduce a new character and feature a focus on Starscream scheming, and Optimus Prime and Bumblebee fighting together. Episode 7, Scrapheap, is a Bumblebee and Ratchet focus episode, with a B plot featuring Optimus and Arcee. Lastly Episode 8, Con Jon, is a Bulkhead centric episode, and sounds as though it will introduce another new character.
We're not going to spoil the identities of the new characters here on the frontpage, so if you want to know who is going to turn up, you'll have to read on! |

We've got another new gallery for you all today - this time out it's the Reveal the Shield Battle in Space Two-Pack, courtesy once again of 2005 Boards member thedrknss48. This set includes Rodimus and Cyclonus, each upgraded with color schemes based more closely on the way they looked on the cartoon series. Hot Rod - sorry, Rodimus - looks particularly bright and dynamic in this deco, though Cyclonus also looks more vibrant. If you missed out on the earlier Challenge at Cybertron set, these are the same great decos from that set, only with additional rubsigns (and without Galvatron).
Check out the images, complete with comparisons of their other incarnations and characters you might consider displaying them with, by clicking on the links below: TFW Reveal the Shield Rodimus Battle in Space Two-Pack Gallery TFW Reveal the Shield Cyclonus Battle in Space Two-Pack Gallery Stay tuned for more galleries - we've got some Decepticons to hunt and more shields to reveal! |
