So we've seen the official "pretty" pic of the Tower of Omens. Personally, I'm a bit disappointed in it. Seems a bit too bare bones for my liking. Seems less of a playset and more of a backdrop for the 4" figures. What do you think? |

The invisible Tygra is kinda cool though. Hope we actually get a stand alone release of that in the 4" or 6" line.

Im not impressed by it. I would like the invisible tygra but might not fork over the green just for that. I would have much rather went for a cats lair or Mummras tomb. Who knows kids might like it. The bad thing is if it fails, we might not see a new cats lair or Mummras tomb. I know I am a gi joe fan and was hoping they would make a 25th anniv terrordrome, but they said they couldnt in case it failed. I know a lot of people that wanted that. Now we got to see a horrible Pitt playset for the gi joe movie complete with cardboard pooltable and from what i saw that tanked and got lots of bad reviews. So I have a feeling we wont be seeing a terrordrome for a long long time.

is this the one that transform into a vehicle or something?
it could work. unless you add some custom parts and/or diorama from the new show. i'm guessing someone out there is thinking of doing a HUUUUGGGEEEEEE Thunderan city made from styrofoam and others. |

So after the new pics, what are your thoughts? did the sheer size sway you one way or the other? |

I'm think it seems a little better now. But price point is whats going to sway me. If its too much, pass. Still at the end of the day theres not much there.

It's nice, but a definite pass for me. If it could still do the train thing (or whatever that was called) it would be more interesting, but even then I don't think I would get it. At most I might get a handful or so of the figures. Only definite/must-have for me will be the classic Panthro figure (when they get around to him anyways).

I haven't picked this up yet, although I'm sure I will be as my kids are into that line. I was just a little disappointed, I would have rather seen a control room playset or something. When you do a building, or something along the lines that they did, it's never proprotional to the figures. In the show they go into the tower, but these figures can stand on top of this tower. I don't know maybe it's just me.

I have the tower displayed with my 4" figures and it is a nice piece. If it ends up being the next "cats lair" that will make it a must have. Hopefully it is not a one episode wonder.

I hope this thing doesn't end up being the "Next Cats Lair" at least that thing had an interior you could play in. This is just a tower and a fence with a cats head on the gate. I'm sorry for all of you that think it's cool, and I'm sure it is to look at, but playability wise, it need to be bigger and offer you more to do with it.
