Figured I'd pop over here to post that Kat Nicholson - a UK colourist who's worked on several issues of the UK's various recent Transformer series - has announced on her DeviantArt that a UK ThunderCats comic is in the works, and that she's colouring it.

Nice! I am not as into comic books as I am the cartoon and toys, but good news none the less. Thanks for the heads up.

Cool bit of news for the UK. Should be interesting to see how they fit into the time-line of the show. Though I doubt I'll get a copy of them. Part of me is actually contemplating tracking down copies of the old comics...

Assuming the show doesn't, it would be interesting if the comics were to expand on Mumm-Ra's background.

I wouldn't mind getting a copy but in digital format. Do you know if electronic format will be available?

Awesome, I wonder who's producing it. Titan Comics have got a bit of a market dominance, so wouldn't surprise me.

Can't wait to see it on the shelves!

I'd doubt it'll be imported in any form, but if they make like Titan do with their magazines, they might make it available to purchase digitally.

Whoa, kinda louf there TIGER007.

No, IDW are not doing any Thundercats comics. Panini is doing the UK mag; and there's a digital-only comic to be released in the States (completely separate).

Nothing else at this stage.
