Why is Cheetara coming off as such a "ho bag"? lol

I'm sorry, but she was clearly leading on Lion-O throughout the series so far, and next thing you know, she's like oh actually I chose you Tygra, lets make out in front of Lion-O now!

I'm starting to not like Cheetara! Let me rephrase, I'm not liking this depiction of Cheetara!

Well, now we know where Panthro's arms went, and why they showed us the new figures of Lion-O and him.

I LOVE how fast this show progresses. Doesn't drag on and tease us as much as other shows do. Great pacing.

A surprisingly good episode. I really enjoyed it.

At first I thought we were going to get a "Panthro Missing" story for next season. Then I saw he was alive, then I saw he had no arms. Whoah!

Yeah, this turn of events is surprising. Can't say I'm terribly happy about it, but it's not my story to tell, just gonna watch and see where it goes.

Feel bad for the young Lion-o though.

And Panthro...wow, talk about a hard-ass. Any sacrifice indeed!

Panthro is a Fucking gangster. Awsome episode.Elephants fight grune Slythe and Mumm-Ra all fight. Did not expect the cheetara situation to end so soon. I also enjoyed the little reference panthro made about Snarf being a nurse maid.

So wrapped up about Cheetara that I forgot to mention Panthro...

yeah, the action figure... though I wished it will look better on the show...

So was I the only one having "This is Sparta" flashbacks when Tygra kick Lion-O down the hole?

this is my first time posting, but I read the forums a lot. This ep was great and as far as the hole Tygra cheetara thing I don't see that as a betrayal. she mad a choice.

i WAS AMAZED AS TO HOW MUCH THOUGHT THEY PUT TO THIS EPISODE.

As soon as he said the sacrifice thing to Grune, I thought: the arms oh Lord the arms!

Nope, I fully expect some "Motivational Pics" as well as photoshopped gifs to come of it.

GOOD episode

However, I knew that the outcome would result in Cheetara choosing Tygra

Disappointed to see Grune pulled into the Astral Plane

We will see Panthro swith some meachanical arms to kick ass soon enough

Kinf of a crappy spoiler but I immediately thought of this with Panthro. I couldn't remember if the figure had mechanical arms but I thought of that Lion-o as soon as the Gauntlet ran up his arm.

I thought that's where they were going to go....I am glad they didn't

Im so not happy about panthro loosing both arms wtf! I mean come on!! and now I guess the love triangle is all over... other than that a great episode

Cheetara the true betrayer
 

It not the choice its everything she has been doing before the choice that doesn't make sense, if her intention was to play the big sister, guide or instill confidence in lion-o her methods or interactions(BODY LANGUAGE) should have been different if we the audience misinterpeted her feelings and feel confused or betrayed that is exactly what it is, if we feel that way, lion-o should to, the writers are forcing us to feel how lion-o or any other character should feel in this situation. I just hope this is the end of it and Lion-o doesn't start going after Tygra cause he did nothing wrong Lion-o should not feel betrayal from Tygra in this situation as the elephant prophezied it should be directed at Cheetara(PERSONALLY I HOPE THEY DON'T GO THAT ROUTE EITHER) the triangle should be resolved now and Lion-o should consider himself lucky.But if Cheetara still interacts with Lion-o the way she has been I will be upset

For the record, they are not making Cheetara out to be some kind of hoe. The writers are doing a excellent job with this series. Last week we was feeling sorry for Tygra because of Cheetara feelings for Lion-O but that wasn't the case, she loved Tygra from the start but i must say it was kind of hoe-ish the way Cheetera approached Tygra off the strength of what she heard what had happened in the astral plane lol. Damn Panthro smh, well that's the end of Grune. LOL

I agree, her being with Tygra doesn't bother me, but all her interaction from begining to end with Lion-o does,her affection was unecessary if this was what she truly felt its misleading, is she going to continue the way she has with Lion-o even after she clearly chose Tygra Is she going to try and clear things up with Lion-o?I would luv an explanation. If I was Lion-o I would keep her at arms lenght, not try to be cold to her but all interest in her would evaporate.

I love cheetara to death but this turn of events has crushed it for me >.>; still upset she chose tygra over lion-o its devistating >.< and then how it wen't down from the first time they met makes it worse ..

I agree with the perception that everyone seems to be taking with Cheetara. In the comics, Tygra was the one she was with, but in the wat she did this with an impressionable Lion-O...it's going to be hard for him NOT to see this as a betrayal. Obviously, with the way she has been acting towards him, he was led on. I have a feeling this is not going to go well from now on. Are they saying that Lion-O should be content with being Lord of the Thundercats while his heart breaks?
Tygra and Cheetara are in for a LOOOONNNNNNNGGGGG road for him to be able to trust or depend on them again. A heartbreak like that will take a long time to heal...regardless of the extenuating circumstances.

OK, that was a great episode. Loved the astral plane stuff, especially Mumm-Ra's full transformation sequence. Holy crap that was awesome!! Also like the Elephants fighting, way cool. And Panthro's sacrifice, holy s*** that was hardcore! Also sets up the ghost of Grune, can't wait! As for Cheetara's choice, it makes sense to me. They did hint to it way back in episode 1, and all the time's Lion-O's thought she was flirting was mostly encouraging him or giving him advice. I anxiously await the next episode, whenever it is!

EDIT: Also like the nursemaid comment towards Snarf. And as for Lion-O's future, keep this in mind; we've not yet met Pumyra and these creators seem the type to import comic character Lynxana. So he's not without hope yet.

Are those new figs 6inch or 4? And man what an awesome episode

After reading all the said spoilers...I'm gonna pass on this episode. I know I'm just gonna be angry when I get to the end (mainly the love triangle thing).

Otherwise I might watch just to see how bad ass Panthro is.

The love triangle reminds me of Jack, Sawyer and Kate from Lost. And I can't tell if those new figs are 4 or 6 inches.

From what i have been seeing with Cheetara's interactions with Lion-o it is clearly beyound guidence and there is no man on this planet naive,impressionable,or whatever u want to call him that would mistake guidence for flirting what she was doing makes no sense so what if she had a moment with Tygra she has shown no interest for 12 eps if her heart was with him for all this time she could have did her job without the cheek kissing and all the flirtacious inuendo she has been throwing towards Lion-o after her confession Tygra should be like well if u always felt that way whats with all this shit with Lion-o. Lets be real how would u react to the type of guidence Cheetara gives

Agree with Jack-Pumpkinhead about Cheetara always encouraging Lion-O through it all so far. Just did not expect to have her make her choice so soon in the series. But I guess now we will get the episode with Lion-O acting stupid again.

I never said anything about her choosing Tygra was what made her slutty, its the fact that she's all up on Lion-O and then doing a complete 180 and saying she wants Tygra and then starts making out with him makes her slutty.

I know I can't be the only one who sees it, this WHOLE season, she's whispering in his ears, having her hand around his shoulders, holding his hands, etc. If that's not mixed messages, I don't know what is. And no, that's not sisterly-brotherly behavior. lol

I see it! that interaction was not sisterly or as plutonic friendship she was clearly leading him on u can't turn a blind eye just because u have a favorite pairing If Tygra reconized it enough to make him jelous how can any one call something else. How many times have u seen someone u luv give advice, guidence, or confidence and it made u jelous? Lets keep it real people.

I agree with most posters here lion-o should wish tygra luck he Will need it.

i got something crazy maybe cheetara is trying to sacrafice herself to tygra and make him think she loves him so that he wouldnt go against lion o so much or betray him and maybe she rly loves lion o but that might a little to much.

for the person that read these posts before seeing ep 13 you should still see it over all its a good ep its just crushing, i also agree that how can they make cheetara show lion-o all this love (encuragment intended) and have all these "feelings" for tygra and not show him any love or affection other then leaning on his sholder ONE time under a mushroom cuz its raining. i also even though im crushed at my girls choice still love her and can't wait to see how lion-o will take it in later eps and as another poster stated we still have other girls that haven't yet been introduced.

overall I did enjoy the episode I just think the way they resolved the triangle could of been done better.

Wow, this episode pissed me off. The Panthro thing absolutely sucked. Honestly, I'm not finding Cheetara, Tygra or Lion-o really likeable anymore. The only things I really liked were Slithe and Grunes conversation, the Wily Twins and the Elephants finally taking a stand.

Hopefully, next episode will turn things around for me.

Now THAT was a Mumm-ra transformation! I need to see that epicness again! Shame the animation overall nearly instantly declined afterwards, but who cares, it was incredible until then. The Lion-O/Tygra fight was epic.

Also Panthro loosing his arms was kinda heavy, shame it's treated with such little gravity. Not "PANTHRO YOUR ARMS DEAR GOD" instead "Aw, lost your arms? That sucks. Snarf, make fun of him."

All in all that was seriously awesome.

Poor Grune, trapped for all eternity with Panthro's arms throttling the hell out of him.

And I agree, I always thought Tygra was a dick, but he won me over with that "I would never betray you" business. And besides, let's face it, Cheetarah is the powerhouse of the team. You don't date her, she dates you

Didn't think they would go to some of the places they did, man that was dark!
I was thinking, 'classic cartoon, talk about sacrifice and then not follow it up, pretend that just standing there was a sacrifice...' and then bam!! No arms!! "worth it." what a line!!

I do find it strange how easily Tygra beats Lion-o for strength and swordsplay. Well, I do and I don't. He's the one that's trained and focused so it makes sense - however - you would have thought by now Lion-o would be the better swordsman, or because he was more in tune with the sword of omens it could have been the deciding factor...

anyway I guess he proved his worth against Mumm-ra by finding the stone and using it.

Cheetara hooooooooo!! Agree with most of the comments here. Cool, no problems, choose Tygra, but don't lead the poor lad Lion-o on! PLus, as someone else said, there's been very little between T+C throughout the series - I suppose little moments here and there that now look more poignant.

I also agree there is no real 'betrayal' that's gone on here. She led him on, sure, but Tygra hasn't betrayed him and she's just made a choice, so maybe the Elephant has forgotten the definition of betrayal ;) Having said that it was a really cool little sequence -
"You said I'd be betrayed"
"I have not heard the evening bell yet"

Excellent end to the first half of the series.
