Saugus KMart has nothing (I even went into the stockroom)

Back to Saugus KMart yesterday, they have two Thundertanks

Again, Revere Target has nothing

Somerville KMart had the Thundertank, 4" Lion, Mum-Ra, Tygra, Deluxe SoO, and the 8" Lion-O, Panthro and Mum-Ra

Grabbed the 6" figs from the Darthmouth TRU. Fantastic figs with great articulation and accessories. Hope to see Bandai put out more in this scale. My friend picked up the Classic Lion-O and Tygra, and the 4" Cheetara, Wiley-Kit and Kat. They also had the Deluxe sets. Only other place I've seen these is K-Mart. We'll see if Wal-mart decides to carry them. Also the 6" are in scale to the characters, so Lion-O is shorter than Panthro and so on.

Saugus Square One Mall Newbury Comics had one of every figure from all lines (classics, standard, deluxe, and 6") I picked up the only Cheetara and Panthro.

Woburn TRU had EVERYTHING (except the tower of Lions)

Peabody TRU has the Tower of Omens playset

Dedham TRU had
1 of each 6"
no 4" except Grune and Mumm-Ra
and a couple of playsets and Thundertanks

I picked up a 6" Lion-O

Just wondering if anyone has the 8 inch classic figs. Are they worth the $19.99 price point?

My 8 inch collector Lion-O came from TRU.com yesterday. Well worth the money and that's even after paying shipping on a single fig. It was the one figure I always wanted as a kid but could never find on a shelf. Had Mumm-Ra though. I saw them at Brockton Rte. 28 Walmart for 16.99 or 17.99 (Classics) after I had already ordered. Prob going to get Tygra next week. That Walmart also had the playsets and Thundertank and all the small 4 inch figs. Didn't look for the bigger new line. Still not sure if I'm going to buy the new line aside from the Classics. Anyone here into Marvel Universe? I'm selling off my collection, so send me anything you're looking for. Only a few HTF ones will be more than reg price.

Found the new 6" Classic figs at Target in Seekonk this am. They had another set when I left. Swansea Target said they may have them in a couple of days. No 6" Modern figs as of yet though.

Is this the first wave or the second wave with Mumra?

1st wave of Classic 6". Looks like the case breakdown is 2 Lion-O, 2 Mumm-Ra. Also noticed that the 6" Cheetara may have hit, but the there are 2 case breakdowns. One has Lion-O, Panthro, and Cheetara, while the other has Lion-O, Tygra, and Cheetara. Think the 1st case breakdown has possibly hit CA.

So has anyone spotted the classic 6 inch Mumm-Ra anywhere?

I did. Got Classic 6" Mumm-Ra and Lion-O at the Seekonk Target. Also saw them at the Swansea Target and Darthmouth Target as well. I'm sure the RI Targets have gotten them in by now.

Really? I was up at the Swansea Target last night and there were zero thundercats anywhere. I didn't even see pegs designated for them.

They are in the same aisle as Ben 10 and Power Rangers. They have 4 pegs in a row consisting of 4", 4" Deluxe, then 2 6' Collector pegs. Remeber also that I posted this info on Thursday.

I went back up there last night before seeing this post. I said to myself let me try the next aisle with the power rangers and sure enough there were 2 left of each! Seeing I already have SDCC Lion-O I only grabbed the Mumm-Ra. I hope they eventually release all of the classic cats in this scale. Not sure why I didn't think to look in the power rangers aisle before :D

On a different note not sure if you or anyone else here collects WWE, but I collect the Elite and Legends only. I grabbed the Kane flashback & Daniel Bryan this pasty Saturday. Looked like they had just stocked the pegs they had 2 kane, 2 bryans, a bunch of ADR and Ortons and a couple of Gabriels and 1 Papa Shango. This target always seems to be the hot spot for figures.

Do you know if there is a collector's web site like this for WWE?

Glad you found them. They are very nice figs. I prefer the 6" over the 8". Now I just need modern Cheetara and Tygra. As for WWE, i collect Elite, Legend, and DM. I already have over 100. Wfigs.com is a good website for all wrestling figure news. They are heavily affiliated with ringsidecollectables.com.

Wow over 100 lol I am not there yet. Just started a few months ago but I have a decent collection already. I hope Bandai re-releases clasics Tygra in the 6 inch scale. He kind of looks stupid with my Mumm-Ra 6 inch. I am really hoping for a classics Panthro. Actually I hope we get the whole team in classics scale lol.

Lynn Walmart has the Armor of Omens

Hey, is the Lynn Walmart a supercenter? I ask because the Walmart I work for is NOT getting Thundercats on the new mod. I'm dissapointed, but that's life. I work at a smaller store, and sometimes supercenters carry different product. Also if Lynn is in a different district than my store that may also be the reason.

Which Walmart do you work at? I know the toy aisle at the RI Mall location is one of the WORST ones I have ever seen! It's like they are trying to get away from selling collector toys period!

I currently work at one in southeastern MA. It's a small store that was converted over from a Bradlees. I've noticed that over the years as well.

On the bright side, a friend of mine called me today and found two 6" Cheetara's for myself and a mutual friend. I'll be receiving them tomorrow am. Woooo Hoooo!

The only Walmart I've been to as of late with a pretty good selection is the one on plainfield pike in Cranston. I actually found my elite CM Punk there and legends Macho Man. every other Walmart I've been to looks like a deserted mess.

The Cheetara you're speaking of, I assume it's the modern version from the current cartoon correct? Honestly I am not a big fan of the current cartoon as well as the toys. I am only collecting the classics so I am hoping Bandai makes the rest of the cats in the classics scale.

The Walmart in Lynn is not a supercenter. The Walmart in Danvers had the MummRa tank, and all of the new figures.

Went to Walmart in Swansea Mall today for some ink cartridges and figured I'd take a look at the toy aisle. To my surprise they had done a complete reset! They had classics lion-o and mumm-ra along with lots of other stuff! Grabbed me a cyclops MU as it looks like they added a whole section for MU! No new WWE Elite tho
