I guess I will start this thread with a little bragging. I bought a ton of vintage Thundercats this weekend at the Tucson Toy Show. Some I never thought I would see in person. Here's my score

Sadly none came with accessories. I had given up on finishing the line until I saw these. Now I only need MOngor, Driller, and Stinger and I will have a complete figure collection. I still need a ton of accessories though.

I went to the Walmart on Germann and Gilbert last night and they got a fresh case of the 4'' figures. I got Lion-O, Cheetara, Panthro, Tygra, Wily Kat, and Wily Kit. What they have left are: Lion-O, Mumm-Ra x3, and Tygra. I'm guessing the other Walmarts should have them too.

I havent found crap! All the toysrus in the phoenix metro area havent received anything! ugh

Whats the retail on these?

Speak of the devil, Last night I went to the toysrus on Indian Bend and the 101 and picked up all the new 6in. figures and CLASSICS Tigra, That guy is amazing. They were just stocking so im sure more things will be out today! gonna head back and see what else i can pick up

Chandler TRU at Ray and I-10 had a bunch of the modern 4 and 6 inch figures, the Thundertank, and the cycles. Oh, and ONE Classics Tygra. I didn't pick him up as I'm looking to find him at a cheaper rate - he was 19.99 at TRU. Hope I don't regret passing on him, he looked REALLY nice.

So I went to the TRU on Oracle in Tucson and I got the same answer when I asked for the new Thundercat Figure..."They have new Thundercat figures?" I was ummm yes they do can you check. They told me that they do have them but are not allowed to sell them or put them out and would not specify the date WTH???? Something is up...anyone else in Tucson know where to find the Classics Line?

Toysrus off Estrella had a good set in stock. Picked up the 6 inch figures myself but passed on the 4 inch and the vehicles. Classics LionO and Tygra were available but it were an easy pass as I do not like Tygra and I have the SDCC Lion-O already.

Ok, I got all the figures @ Toys R Us on Oracle/Wetmore! Finally!! Yes!!!! TRU on Braodways gets a truck today too FYI!

ThunderCats Collector 8 inch Action Figure - Lion-O - Bandai - Toys "R" Us

I really need to find the Classics Lion-O not the SDCC one I've been looking for him everywhere. any help would be greatly appreciated

I found a handful of the new figures at TRU on Power/US 60 on Monday evening:
- 4" basic Mumm-Ra (picked up one)
- 4" deluxes - Grune, Mumm-Ra, Tygra,
- ThunderTank
- Basic roleplay sword and claw shield,

I checked the K-Mart across the street, but there was nothing. :(

This morning I checked the WM on Gilbert/Germann, and while there's nothing on the shelves, there are pegs labeled and waiting - looks like they're re-zoning the toy department there.

I'll check the WM's at Market/Williams Field and Power/Ray on the way home tonight... might get lucky!

I broke down and ordered him, looks like he's still in stock as of now. Here's hoping I can get rid of the ugly wash with some isopropyl alcohol. The chrome swords and the stand, along with the metallic armor, are too awesome.

Still haven't seen anything locally outside of TRU, I'm really gonna need a Tygra now...

Wal-Mart at Williams Field/Market (San Tan Village) has the 4" basic figures in stock. They had all but Cheetara on the pegs. Picked up 1 each. There's at least 1 Tygra left, and multiple Lion-O's and Mumm-Ra's. Also at least 2 ThunderTanks.

Wal-Mart at Germann/Gilbert is now stocked. Most of the 4" basic figures (still no Cheetara!), 1 set of basic vehicles, the ThunderTank, 1 case of 6" and 2 sets of the 8" classics!

I need to get out on the hunt but I haven't had the money.

On another note...

Did you know there is a weekly toy show in Phoenix? The north west corner of 7th Ave and Camelback every Saturday from 10 AM - 4 PM. It's truly a great place to come fill the hole sin your collections and network with other die hard collectors. Prices seem to be pretty fair if not less than ebay and everyone is pretty cool. I will def be there and I hope to meet some of you there as well.
