TWO SEATER tHUNDERTANK
 

Im new to this, but i got a wild hair , and decided i wanted a big two seater thundertank, it is remote controlled and right now i just sat my belt buckle on it, i should be done in about two week, havinf trouble designing the rear. This is my interpratation, a little of the cartoon and pics ive seen online, as well, as just me.. Be kind and let me know what you think. Thanks

yeah , i forgot to put WIP, i see alot of views but no feed back. ?

Fixed the thread prefix for you. If you could get a couple of clearer pics of the WIP, it might spur some feedback. Right now, it's hard to tell what's happening.

Yes, new pics. Maybe use a flash or try to get a little better lighting. That should help with images being blurry.

im going to load new pics tonight, it wont have th claws on it because they looked like baby claws after i got it all mocked up so i have to redesign some more. I think i got the back hatch figured out but need some feed back on if it looks ok.

ok, here are some better pics, as i said befor the back is not set in stone, the blue thrusters will have lights in them,. and the mouth has lights as well. the black thruster are only for show,.and advice or critiques are welcomed before it is fiberglassed. :)

is this built from scratch or a mod of the original toy?

it started out a mod, but has quickly become a scratch item, you have tro rememberthe original toys was only what 10 inches long and 6 inches wide maybe, this is 18 inches long and 11 inches wide. just when i think i have it i have to start all over again.

what did you use for the tank treads?

its actually a robot base system from lynxmotion.. the whole back section is the track system, thats how its will be remote controlled. see the links for info, if you click on teh deminsions tab at the bottom, it will show you how biug they are and it might put in perpective how big the tank is.. You got any suggestions or somthing you think could be better'?

Man I think it looks really good. Im doing a repaint of the Tank to go with my classic figures. I just need to find the back hatch and I will be done.

what kind of repaint are you doing, just to make it look more vibraint , or red...???

Looks good so far. Whats with the repro treads on the original? Are those the ones from Ebay?

those are the ones off of ebay, but thats not the custom? the one on the left will have robot tri tracks from

Ah that's what I thought, thank you! I was gunna get a set but their not as accurate as I'd like. I suspected that they were Actually car belts turned inside out, does that seem to be right? Either way I'm excited to see this completed! The old ljn remote control tank was cool but this is boss!
