Thundercats Postpones Episodes Again.

Checking in cartoon network site it looks like the next episode is going to be the last one for now. The site says that in 25 of November there is going to be realesed Episode 13 Between Brothers and for December 2 says that the episode that they will put in the tv will be Omens Part 1 (meaning Episode 1 again) :(. If i find anything new i will inform you all guys. :)

adssse 11-20-2011 07:56 PM

It would not entirely surprise me if they took a break at 13. Perhaps they are planning on running 4 series of 13 episodes since they confirmed 52. I hope I am wrong though and it is just a short break.

LouLou 11-21-2011 03:26 AM

ahhh no. I hope they don't!! I don't like the waiting game at all!!!

Joe Moore 11-21-2011 09:25 AM

Thanks for the heads up.

Ashley 11-21-2011 11:26 AM

The breaks on shows has got to be one of my biggest complaints about Cartoon Network right now. Just as you are getting into the weekly ritual of watching a show they decide to take one of these breaks.

I could kind of understand the mid season break since that seems to be the popular thing for shows to do now, but with shows like Young Justice it's just show some episodes and then stop for an unknown amount of time.

Skylynx 11-21-2011 02:06 PM

Oh no! Not again!
The break between episodes 8 & 9 was long enough and now another break? That drives me nuts.....

Yasraina 11-21-2011 03:14 PM

You it's because it is the season finale that episode. So people you understand we will wait long it seems.

xhavoc86 11-21-2011 03:24 PM

Bang heads on table.

Ravenxl7 11-21-2011 05:22 PM

Oh well. I'm happy enough that a new episode is airing on my birthday, lol. Hopefully this break won't be too long...

Wilyjo 11-21-2011 06:07 PM

Maybe I'm just being hopeful, but this time it makes a little more sense due to holiday programming aha. Hopefully it comes back in January or at the latest, February this time.

MONSTAR 11-21-2011 07:39 PM

NOOOOOOOOooooooooo (Darth Vader voice) !

Man i hate these breaks it felt like forever the
last break they took... Its enough that they make us wait a whole week for 22 minutes.... Ahhhhhhhh they're killing me .. I think im going to stop waiting every week and just pick up the whole series on DVD when it comes
out!

Ah, so I see TC is taking a leaf out of the Doctor Who book and following the 13 Episode Season standard.

Interesting. Looks like the seasons are thirteen episodes long. Meaning there's going to be at least four seasons total. This makes the Season 1 Book 1 DVD kinda awkward, imho. With only five more episodes in the season, the second "book" will either be lacking in comparison, or will have a good amount of extras with it. Still, with only thirteen episodes per season, it shouldn't be that hard to get full season sets out there on DVD.

Yasraina 11-22-2011 04:27 AM

Guys Cartoon network put something wierd for 6 of December it's called SNARF: BUTTERFLIES BLUES. What is that?

Thanks Joe! Awesome stuff at thundercats.ws. Love the show, love the site! :)

BB Shockwave 11-23-2011 05:33 AM

Well, other sources now indicate the show will go on with new episodes in december, so who to believe now?

I hate it when they put breaks into new shows. The episodes are done and animated, so why do this? If I get impatient, imagine what kids are like... and they, being young and easily impressionable, will lose interest and move on to another show. Like with Young Justice and its 6-months break, I mean, really. I can wait, obviously, but I find these breaks a particulary bad decision from a marketing standpoint.

Yasraina 11-23-2011 05:39 AM

You know if it was the first break cause of the series finale it would be okay. The thing is that it's the second break and i'm afraid that it will take long to come back as you said like (young justice).

vantheman77 11-27-2011 02:09 AM

I just checked on Cartoon Network's schedule and they're re-airing Omens Part 2 on Dec 9 so it looks like we get a hiatus after the season finale and the Snarf short.

rlw1984 12-04-2011 11:47 AM

They are probably doing this to catch people up again with what has all happened so far before putting out the new season.

merlin 12-04-2011 12:12 PM

lion-o trial ep pt 1 and pt 2

couldn't they just do a clip show, instead of punishing those of us who have been watching all along?

User897 12-04-2011 09:45 PM

A clip show would be a punishment in itself. Just broadcast the new material FFS.

stormbringer 12-04-2011 09:50 PM

Except this is CN, they like taking ridiculously long breaks with there shows.

I agree that repeating the episodes all over again just seems like a great waste of time and it would be much faster if they would simply do a clipshow but they won't do that because that wouldn't be fair to those who didn't get the opportunity to see them the first time around. Frankly, I wish they would just get on with it already and start airing the new episodes I am really anxious to find out what happens next!

Wileycat 12-06-2011 03:57 PM

bummer

Shadowflight 12-06-2011 08:01 PM

Really? I've seen so many things on the internet saying one should of been aired on the 2nd and the end of this week...seriously CartoonNetwork, stop confusing us!

Dr Kain 12-08-2011 01:19 AM

THis si why I like the japan way of airing a show. They show every episode every week for the length of the series until it is over. No stupid breaks, no reruns, none of that. This way, they actually get the show done with and not take 3 years to show 52 episodes.

Can they at least just release the first 13 episodes on BD already?!

that is a shortsighted and inaccurate thing to say.

1. not all shows run as you say. fate/zero is airing episodes 1-13 weekly (with episode 13 airing this month) and then takinga break and not airing episode 14 until april.

2. in anime, it isn't uncommon for a season to be considered a series. just look at shakugan no shana. the show was released, it was 26 episodes long, a year or two went by, and then the story continued with shakugan no shana 2, which was essentially a second season after a break, and then after that, there was a break and a 3rd series is airing now. with this model of shows, it isn't uncommon for a season/series to end on a cliffhanger just like an american show.

3. continuous doesn't mean continuously good. in the last year, how many months of that has naruto shippuuden been airing crappy filler episodes?

Wileycat 01-04-2012 02:51 PM

sooooooooo anyone have an idea on when they will continue with the new episodes?

DarkKnight 01-04-2012 02:52 PM

the 13 or 20 of this month

nitewing73 01-09-2012 04:02 PM

I was wondering when the next new episode starts. I've been watching some of the episodes over again on demand. They only have episodes 2 to 6 on demand right now. I was inspired to watch them over again after getting some new T-Cats toys the last week.

So are the first 13 episodes considered 1 season or its just half of season 1?

Lody 01-10-2012 12:13 PM

I have them all DVR'd but every Friday we have Pizza and a movie and my son keeps asking if they are on. We have just been atching the recorded ones but we are both hoping the new ones start airing.

His usual response is "This one AGAIN"

Balgus82 01-12-2012 11:35 PM

didn't want to create a whole new thread for this because there's no actual date, but on Dan Norton's FB page someone wrote:
"I'm guessing 4/6/12 for the return of Tcats."

and Dan replied:
"Sooner than that my friend!"

So everyone start looking out for official news. :D
