This news just made my day!!!! Now bring on Tygra too at Toy Fair!!!

I saw this on facebook yesterday. This is great news and I think they did another outstanding job! I definitely will plan on getting this.

Still light years better than the statues and at half the price. I love these!

Love it! It looks like she could be the best looking figure in the line so far. Can't wait.

After all these years I finally get a decent Cheetara figure.

I spoke with Mezco Toyz media manager and he said they are going to be releasing more information and pictures closer to Toy Fair 2013

It's nice to see these continuing. It's not much, but it's something. I wonder if Panthro can still be found at retail...I never did go out to TRU to try and find him...feel a little bad about that.

Cheetara here will be a bit tempting, even if I'll never get the entire team. Would be epic, and I love Thundercats, but I'm not sure I could do that...lol

theres a hastings in my town that probably still has a bunch of panthros in it at the normal retail price. or you can probably still order from mezco at retail

I've since seen that BBTS still has him in-stock, and for just thirty-five bucks, so I may still order one from them. That said, I'm actually kind of tempted to get Cheetara...I'll inevitably want the twins when their made, as I connected with them growing up...but then it becomes a question of how many is enough...lol

My TRU still had 3 out of 4 from the original stock it got on many months ago. I waited and waited for him to go on clearance to no avail. So I finally got him today. Had $15 in TRU rewards so only had to pay $15 out of pocket. Not to bad!

I just a TRU with several Panthros on the shelf at full price still. I wonder if the twins will come down the road, I sure look forward to getting a full set of the original crew. A two pack with them flying on their boards with a clear stand would be sweet.

Got a chance to get out to TRU. Not the one I usually go to, but a friend of mine was saying how they really cleaned the place up, so we went out there. Only Thundercats merch I saw was a couple Armor of Omens. Not a single Mezco figure...:(

I was talking to a TRU employee and they said not every store carries them but can have the ordered if you talk to a manager. They also have lay away too which is good for those large items like the $250 Millenium Falcon if you are into that kind of thing.

So I can't wait til Toy Fair to see more pics of Cheetara, but I was wondering, what do we think the likelihood is that they'll have another figure on display as well? Do you think Cheetara is probably it for this year, and then maybe Tygra next year, or could they have another surprise for us on display? Also, in the past, they have done convention exclusives of Lion-o (glow in the dark eyes and second head) and Mumm-ra (glow in the dark paint and mummified version). Do we think this year they would do any type of exclusive using the Panthro or Cheetara molds? I can't really think of any... Once they get to Tygra, an "invisible" exclusive done in clear plastic would be amazing! If the exclusive could include new sculpts, like Mummy Mumm-ra, I'd love to see a two pack of Snarf and Ma-mutt.

Hmmm, How about cheetara in a running pose w/ a transparent or painted blur effect behind her.

or...maybe a clothingless version like in the very first ep of the classic series.

Those would sell like hotcakes. :D

Eh...while I kinda want him, I don't want him bad enough to have a TRU specially order a case of him in for me. It's a, if I see him I'll get him, if not, maybe order him online...maybe. I'm still not sure I actually want to get into this line. They look great, but once I start, I'm not sure where I would stop...lol. The price of them would add-up quickly, and the space to display them would increase steadily. I'm also not sure I would be able to resist the compulsion to have an even number of good guys to bad guys. Though I've recently been able to overcome it...for certain things. I do still have my 8" Lion-O villain-less after-all.
