We've got a pair of sizzling new Transformers toy galleries to share with you tonight folks - two toys of different Generations and eras, with the common theme that both are getting new toys later this year as Transformers Collectors Club Exclusives. Yes, we have for today galleries of a plucky yellow Maximal named Cheetor, and a mean purple jet named Ramjet. These photos are brought to you by 2005 Boards member HighPrime.
First up, we have Botcon 2006 Cheetor. With Botcon 2011 just two weeks away, and Transtech Cheetor playing a role in the convention exclusive comic, now we felt was a great time to highlight the other toy where Cheetor was a car. In my opinion the Botcon 2006 set was one of the coolest and most imaginative sets that Fun Publications have come up with - check out this gallery of Cheetor and you'll see why for yourself! Next up is a gallery of the original Generation 2 Ramjet. This Decepticon warrior always looked pretty sharp in white, and looks just as cool here in this purple deco. He's getting an update using the Classics mold as the other Transformers Collectors Club exclusive this year - check out this gallery to see the awesomeness of the original toy. TFW Botcon 2006 Transtech Cheetor Gallery TFW Generation 2 Ramjet Gallery I hope you'll keep it TFW for future gallery updates, including a follow-on to this post once the new Transformers Collectors Club exclusives are released. Be sure to check out some of our other Transformers Toy Galleries for even more awesome photos of convention exclusive and Generation 2 era toys: Transformers Convention Exclusives Galleries Generation 2 Transformers Galleries Generation 2 Redux - Botcon 2010 Exclusive Toys Gallery |

An interesting little image has popped up on 4Chan. What you can see here to the left is a view of the back of a possible upcoming Kaiyado Revoltech Optimus Prime. For those unfamiliar, Revoltech as a series takes many classic robot - and other - characters, and uses a unique revolver joint system that allows for unparalleled poseability in their scale and price point. We've had some Dreamwave inspired Revoltechs in the past - this though would be the first foray into a different series for Revoltech. No other details known other than what you see here - but chances are, Optimus will be a part of the "Movie" Revoltech sub-series.
Stay tuned for more news and information. |

We've got word that another talent member of IDW Publishing's art team will be attending Botcon 2011. Livio Ramondelli will be at Botcon 2011, he is working on the upcoming Transformers Chaos - check out a sample of his work to the left of this story to see why this is an awesome thing. Be sure to check out his Deviant Art account for more samples of his work, including some awesome black and white sketches of Bruticus and Rodimus Prime. Be sure to show your support for this talented artist by stopping by and saying hi at his table in the Botcon 2011 artist's alley.

Here's something that almost got lost in the shuffle. The official Japanese movie site (coming to us by way of Snakas) has updated with a photoshopped fully colored image of the Lawson's Exclusive Dark of the Moon Optimus Prime Darkside Version (what a mouthful). These images indicate that the Darkside Version will be mainly black, with silver swords trimmed in red, red windows and gold highlights and flames in the vehicle mode. He looks pretty nifty in these early pictures, so I'm sure once we finally see the real thing he'll look every bit as awesome.
This exclusive Optimus Prime is only available with a purchase of a ticket for Darkside Moon - the Japanese dub of Dark of the Moon - from Lawson's Stores in Japan. Check out the Optimus Prime Darkside Version resources entry for more information on this toy. |

Now that we've got your attention, how would you like to meet the artist of this piece, and other IDW comic books like: Godzilla: Kingdom of Monsters Issue 1 "Stomp" cover promotion - lead artist Godzilla: Kingdom of Monsters RE cover artist Beast Wars Sourcebook artist Transformers: Animated - Rise of Safeguard - interior artist Good news! You can! Matt Frank, the artist of all the above, is attending Botcon 2011 this year. You can find him in the Botcon 2011 artist's alley next to the one and only Josh Perez! Be sure to go over and say hi to him and all the other talented artists who are attending, and maybe buy a print of this awesome piece of work. |

Here's one for all you Cyberverse fans - the Dark of the Moon Autobot Ark Cyberverse playset has been released in Australia, and Swoop of the Ozformers has bought and reviewed the set. One thing is certain - this is a big playset! Check out the size comparison with Deluxe Class toys - it's huge! The base mode is cool and packed with features for the Cyberverse toys, but bad news about the connection ports - it cannot be linked up to the smaller Cyberverse Plus Action Sets.
Check out the full review and more images over at Ozformers - Transformers Collectors Australia. |

Another new Dark of the Moon toy has been released - this time out it is the Dark of the Moon Cyberverse Evolutions four pack. This set is a Toys R Us exclusive, and is a part of their broader "Mission Earth" exclusive campaign. It features two versions of Bumblebee and two versions of Starscream - one of each in their "pre-movie" form, represented by recolors of Universe Legends Bumblebee and Legends of Cybertron Starscream, and one of each in their Movie forms. The Movie versions are partially transparent, like the Toys R Us exclusive Scan Series - perhaps this is a trend? 2005 Boards member Silvershot purchased these at the Covina, LA Toys R Us.

Cybergundam Blog has updated with a new Japanese magazine scan showing finalized versions of the Tokyo Toy Show United Optimus Prime and Megatron Black Versions. Both Optimus and Megatron look very sharp in these black decos, Megatron in particular seems to be taking a few cues from Animated Shadow Blade Megatron.
Also on this page is another look at the Japan only Dark of the Moon toy, DA-15 Jetwings Optimus Prime. He's looking pretty awesome - and huge! Check out the scan which shows all three of these and discuss on our 2005 Boards. |

Digital Spy has interviewed the game director of the upcoming Transformers Dark of the Moon video game. Rather than a straight adaptation, the game is a prequel, and each level gives you a different Transformer to play as. This interview gives some insight into the lessons learned from War for Cybertron, and also into why this particular "one character - one level" structure was chosen.

Our second item for Transformers Dark of the Moon The Game today is the list of achievements (which will probably be the same for the PS3 trophies). The achievements reveal some new information about the game as a whole, some of which could be considered spoilers. Of note:
- The single player campaign consists of seven chapters. - First three chapters are Autobot based, four five and six give you Decepticons to play as, the last chapter puts you back in control of the Autobots. - The identity of the last bosses seems to have been revealed! - A couple of other characters have also been confirmed for the game, including Air Raid. Read the full list of achievements over at trueachievements.com. |

Official Facebook Page of Canadian Rock Band, Art of Dying is announcing that their song “Get Thru This” will be featured in the upcoming Michael Bay movie; Transformers: Dark of the Moon.
Also, the band says that there will be songs from “Linkin Park [Iridescent], Staind, My Chemical Romance, Skillet, Theory of a Deadman" featured in the Official Album of Transformers 3. If this rumor is true, can you guess what songs from the above mentioned bands will be featured in the movie? |

Well that didn’t take long…
It was less than an hour ago we learned of some possible new tracks for Transformers: Dark of the Moon. Here is TFW member MaxGoof, bringing us a news straight from Goo Goo Dolls’ Official Website. Yes, the band is returning for the third movie after their super successful song; “Before It’s Too Late” from Michael Bay’s Transformers [2007]. Transformers 3 will have a new song by the band, named “All That You Are”. If I may quote the official word… “There is a new Goo Goo Dolls song, "All That You Are" featured on the Transformers 3 soundtrack. You can check out the full track listing and pre-order the soundtrack today at Transformers 3 Music.com. Just to refresh our memories… check out the Official Music Video of “Before It’s Too Late” (from the first movie), after the jump. |

These new pictures give us a nice and clear look at both of these new decos on the War for Cybertron versions of Optimus Prime and Megatron - who look like Nemesis Prime and Dark Energon / Shadow Blade Megatron, respectively.

Our fellow fans over at The Allspark have interviewed the legendary Transformers writer Simon Furman about the proposed revival of the original Marvel Comics Transformers series, which lasted 80 issues. If you have not already done so, sign the petition here and show your support.
If you need some convincing, here are some key points of what Simon would bring into the series should IDW decide to greenlight it: - The story would be called "War to End All Wars" - The creative team that worked together on the story are Andy Schmidt, Simon Furman and Andrew Wildman. - The story begins 20 years from when issue 80 ended (i.e. now) and Earth has been at peace. The Autobots let their guard down, and as a result a catastrophe happens on Earth. - The book will focus on the core cast of characters - Optimus will be mentoring Hot Rod. He sees a potential in Hot Rod that the other Autobots don't see. - The story will be a single arc, leaving room for additional arcs afterward if sales are good. - Elements introduced in the G2 comics will come into play in additional arcs. Many thanks to Might Gaine of our 2005 Boards for providing the keypoint summary. Visit the Allspark to read the full interview, and if you want to see this happen, click here and sign the petition! |

Another great piece of news coming to you from the Allspark today - the Transformers Unite for the Universe comics have been translated! The first four parts of the five part saga was initially released with the Movie Masterpiece series releases, while the fifth part was not released until Transformers Generations 2011 collected all five parts. The series is written by Simon Furman and features art by Guido Guidi, with colors by Tommaso Renieri. The Allspark's NightViper, Lonegamer8 and Powered Convoy came together to provide us with this excellent translated version of the story. Be sure to check it out - it features lots of later series toy-only characters, including Bludgeon and Seaspray!

We've got another new Transformers toy release for you tonight! This time out we have the Scan Series, the Toys R Us Exclusive Dark of the Moon assortment of Autobots in the middle of scanning their vehicle modes. More specifically, it's wave 1 of the Scan series, featuring Ironhide and Sideswipe - the other two in the set, Bumblebee and Ratchet are evidently part of a later assortment, as both Ironhide and Sideswipe are shipping in equal numbers in each case. San Antonio TX based raiden225005 made the sighting.
Stay up to date on the latest sightings in your area in our Transformers sightings section. |

toy-world.com.hk has shared some scans of the Transformers portion of the latest edition of Figure King. These new scans show off the next assortment of the Japanese Dark of the Moon releases which include Shockwave, Skyhammer, Vortex and Sideswipe. The Dual Model Kit Optimus Prime and Bumblebee get a page each. A single is given to the Tokyo Toy Show Exclusive Optimus Prime and Megatron, Jetwings Optimus Prime and the Japanese Stealth Force releases, though in fairness we've seen those images in other official publications recently. Lastly there is a page all about the Heat Scramble game.
Check out our mirror of all the images by clicking on the title of this story. |

We have received the Diamond Comics Shipping list for next week's comics from the ever-informative D-Drive. Next week the road to Chaos continues with the second part of Space Opera in Transformers Ongoing 20.
The Transformers Vault is also on the shipping list, and the new month brings with it a huge amount of Transformers toys arriving in comics stores through Diamond. Most of it has been out since 16 May, but it's also got some of the harder to find items such as Cyberverse Powerglide and Blackout, so you might want to check the independent shops that order through Diamond if you can't find these at regular retail. TRANSFORMERS ONGOING #20 (& it's incentive) Mike Costa (w) o Guido Guidi (a) o Marcelo Matere, Guido Guidi (c) Through a series of misunderstandings, Rodimus and his two strange new partners arrive on a planet we haven't visited in a long time, and meet a few other 'bots everyone thought were lost forever. Those are a lot of vague words, because this issue has a TON of surprises. Check them out in SPACE OPERA Part 2. |

A new image has been released by iGear on their Facebook gallery (requires registration), showing various elements of their upcoming PP-05 Ironhide and Ratchet unofficial custom Masterpieces. It's still not clear what the toys will actually look like - this montage just shows parts of the arms and head concepts. The shoulders are definitely going to take inspiration from the Masterpiece Convoy style, though, and the Ironhide will feature armcannons like his Movie counterpart as well as what looks like his old battlestation from his Generation 1 toy.
iGear has previously teased that something might be unveiled at TFSource's booth at Botcon. If this is the case, we might be finding out more about this release very soon. |

We've got the first new Transformers Dark of the Moon TV Spots for you here today! These TV Spots, posted to Youtube by Michael Bay himself, are titled "Everything" and "Secret". Check out "Everything" if you want a quick glimpse at a new character, the Autobot Mirage who transforms into a red Ferrari Italia. He's got some pretty mean looking arm mounted blades - perhaps him and Sideswipe will slice and dice some Decepticons together?

We've got a bit of news here that Dark of the Moon Human Alliance fans have been waiting for - Human Alliance Roadbuster has been released. Roadbuster has shipped out from Hasbro Toy Store earlier this week, and bricks and mortar sightings have followed from multiple Arizona based members including Stune who took the picture shown to the left.
As if this was not enough, 2005 Boards member StayingintheBox has shared a review and a detailed set of images showing off all that is Human Alliance Roadbuster - the design, the gimmicks, the battle mode on the already heavily armed vehicle mode. Read on and check out his review and images! |
