Vintage Cruncher figure repair.

2 Attachment(s)
I just got a Cruncher figure and the grabbing action doesn't work. Pushing the side button makes the figure lean back, but the arms don't move.

I've put the pieces inside in the order i think they should go, and if I move the mechanism by hand it moves the arms. When I close the figure up though and push the side button, there is resistance. Instead of piece 1 moving piece 2 upward and moving the arms, piece 2 becomes dislodged and rattles around inside.

Has anyone had to fix one of these before, or got one they could pop open to see if I have the pieces in the right place.

Any help is appreciated.

How did you pop the figure open? I always seem to damage the outside when I attempt it.

With the regular ones, yeah, they're easily damaged. This one has screws holding it together though, and once they're out it the back comes off really easily.

Is it an LJN figure? I was thinking that only the glasslite figures had screws to hold them together. (I obviously dont own a Cruncher yet :D)
