Ro-Bear Berbils In Episode 9

Title Revealed for Thundercats Episode 9

Balgus82 09-13-2011 09:50 AM

Is there an official source for that? Not saying I don't believe it cause I do. It was in a leaked episode list a while back that's been pretty accurate so far, but that list wasn't official so I wasn't sure.

Ravenxl7 09-13-2011 10:57 AM

Will be nice to finally see the Berbils in the new show. Should be interesting to see how they differ from the originals (there's bound to be some differences). Though I do hope their homes are similar looking. Maybe more tech-ed out looking mushrooms this time, lol.

The break from new episode sucks, but oh well. It won't kill me.

Sweet! I've been looking forward to the Berbils. We tried getting some info on how they would sound last Friday, but all Dan would say is "They sound awesome." lol

With the voice acting being top shelf for nearly every character, I expect nothing less. I'm personally not a big fan of the Berbils from the original series, but I bet that will change on this one.

I'm right with you on that.

I rather liked them in the OS. The only problem I had with them was how difficult it was to understand them. I didn't mind the robotic voices (rather liked them), but they needed to enunciate better.

merlin 09-13-2011 01:29 PM

robears like big teddy bears

Grune the Warrior 09-13-2011 02:56 PM

What is the air date for Ep. 9?

xhavoc86 09-13-2011 05:19 PM

I love the Berbils :)

EDIT:
I think it airs this week 9/16/2011!

6 week break. so Oct 28st by my calculations. Right after the DVD release of the first 8 episodes.

Shadowknight1 09-13-2011 07:37 PM

No ThunderCats this week due to hour long Clone Wars.

nomad16 09-13-2011 07:44 PM

Awesome I love seeing the classic characters return on the show this is so cool its only getting better!!!!!

PANTHRO HOOO 09-13-2011 09:02 PM

Ratslash 09-13-2011 09:02 PM

Im very interested to see how they are going to incorporate these guys in the show. The wait is going to kill me though, now that ive gotten used to watching a new episode every week. Hope the time goes by quickly!

The racers are already a part of the tank's structure. They just haven't used them yet.

Might one say; they are "Adora-Berbil"....
:D

Crap! I probably just named their ancient queen of the blessed
foundry or some such...

BB Shockwave 09-14-2011 03:59 AM

I am really, really hoping they change the voices. I could hardly understand what they were saying in the old series. They were worse then G1 Seaspray... :)

They're taking a 6 week break. Not on at all this week because of Clone Wars having an hour long premiere, and they're rerunning the first 5 episodes the next 5 Fridays. So the new episode should be on Oct 28 (need to edit the incorrect date in my old post I guess; had it at the 21st) as long as everything goes according to what I've been told.

SPLIT LIP 09-14-2011 10:45 AM

Oh snap...

Thundera 09-14-2011 12:44 PM

This is very exciting! For the first time, a reboot is trying to do something to make old fans happy!

whiskers....

Lion O of savannah 09-14-2011 08:27 PM

I am sure that they are going to make the voices of the berbils comprehendable compared to the 80's version. I dont know about you guys, but when the new episodes were coming on I looked forward to Fridays. Now its like another day for me, might as well be Monday. Dont get me wrong, weekends rock, time with the family and away from school, but my kiddish giddiness isnt there. Counting down the weeks till a new episode comes back on.

Balgus82 09-14-2011 08:51 PM

Scary thought, but they might use autotune for them now. lol

LOL! T-Payne as Robear Berbil on a boat.

This won't be their debut... I saw parts of one in the fist episode. lol.

6 weeks is gonna be excruciating... I'm addicted to this show.

merlin 09-16-2011 07:22 PM

ro bears berbils will help build new thundercats 's lair

ThundercatsHo 09-17-2011 08:57 AM

Love the show, A little saddened that its on a six week break. But happy they are making a return. I looked all over online searching for a season 2 for info and was unable to find any until I saw this for episode 9. Berbils were one of my favs as a kid. Wonder if Ben-Gali will ever make a appearance?

NinSage 09-17-2011 09:51 AM

6 weeks!?

NOOOOOOOoooooooooo...... !

novaprime2001 09-17-2011 12:57 PM

maybe they will build the cats lair

Michael'O 09-19-2011 12:11 PM

It makes sense to take a 6 week break, after all it will end the Season at the end of November and the Christmas Season is next, so they can't really run it in that month.

It will get the kids calmoring for Thundercats for Christmas, plus it will give them a chance to most probably finish the last episode for this season, which of course will be the season finally and it will be a two parter.

Balgus82 09-19-2011 12:44 PM

end the season in November? how are they going to air 18 episodes within a month on a weekly schedule?

nitewing73 09-21-2011 11:01 AM

The Robear Berbils were fine in the original series. They didn't annoy like other cute type characters like that. They were the T-Cats first friends and allies when they crash landed right? Can't wait to see how they are introduced on the new show. Did they show them on Mumm-Ra's ship in the last episode?
