Yeah, this is from an aborted reboot from a couple of years ago.

They scrapped it in favor of the cartoon.

Provided that the cartoon takes off and does well, expect to see this put back into production.

I'm glad the cartoon won out. I prefer its style to this CGI version.

This I seriously doubt. Since this trailer appears to be just a concept pilot, what is the likelihood that Warner Brothers has 2 new Thundercats reboots at once? Zero would be my guess.
