I was hoping Bengali and Pumyra were bad guys to start off. Lynxo didn't start with them, so maybe they will have different roles.
It would be so obvious if they were the alliance for the TC. I think it would be better if they were mummra's new alliance, that would be a surprising debut. |

Personally I hope they don't make any more of the cats a part of Mumm-Ra's following. I wouldn't want to see them be exactly as they were in the original, but making them evil would be going too far, imho. Maybe make them reluctant to help out Lion-O and crew.
I also really want to see all the old villains return in some form or another. They can make them new and interesting without needing to change their alliance. We already know Jackalman is on his way (though under a new name), and I think Vultureman has been mentioned. Would be cool to see Slithe, Jackalman, and Monkian bickering with each other in the new show at some point. |

We have 39 episode where they could start off bad and then become good in the end. All the cats served mummra, wouldn't that be going to far? |

I"m not saying don't change anything, just that I don't see the need to make them evil. There's plenty of ways to make the characters different from the original show without changing everything about them.

Everyone expects B/P are going to be good guys, I think it would be great if they started off bad. I don't believe all the cats sided with Leo. He betrayed them, even though he freed them. He chose the animals over the cats. I believe some of those cats are still out there. B/P could be apart of that group. |

I don't think they should start out "good", or "bad" for that matter. I think they should start out neutral, wanting to keep to themselves, and then something later on forces them to get involved. As far as I see it, he didn't betray the other cats, he freed them too. While Mumm-Ra was treating them much better than the other animals, I can't imagine serving him came with that many perks. They were still trapped under his tyranny. I think the split, if it at all happened, would have been sometime after the fall of Mumm-Ra, for some other reason. Either way, it's been long enough that I doubt the other group/tribe (assuming there actually is another) has most likely long forgotten about it all by now (it's clear the one's that eventually inhabited Thundera had long forgotten about the past). Please, let's just agree to disagree. Neither one of us is going to change our opinions, and all this is theoretical till the show continues anyways. No point in continuing to argue over it. I do disagree with your comment about other tribes, cheetara proved that. Something destroyed her village. Last edited by L08e16o; 02-03-2012 at 09:23 AM.. |

No one ever said Cheetara came from a different village. She was from Thundera just like the rest of them. What she said was she had no Clan. No family. In other words she was an orphan.

I think Lion- o/ Pumyra could have a flirtation, and Cheetara could maybe start to get jealous. If the writers are going to drag out this triangle throughout the series, something is going to have to extend it.

Bengali and Pumyra could always get together shortly after Lion-o and Pumyra realize their not each others real love. And I hope the triangle is wrapped up by ep 26 too, something like that can get old pretty quick.

Do you know where exactly oval office is? Do you know where the secret service stays? Just because she lives in the city doesn't mean she's ever been to the palace. And it definitely doesn't mean she's ever been on the grounds to know where everything is. |

They don't have internet or technology. She'd only know what she had been told about the palace by whoever was taking care of her (if anyone else WAS taking care of her). They don't let just anyone on the grounds. That's why Tygra was guarding the entryway in the first place. Only people with the "proper seals" were allowed past. She just ran past him. |

The target audience is 6-11 year olds. Don't forget that. and most of the kids watching will not have seen the OS. They won't know the characters. How are they "handling" L/C fans right now after the ending of episode 13? Of course ratings are important. But for that to even be a credible argument you'd have to assume that B/P fans are the majority of the audience and that they'd all quit the show if it didn't happen. Which I'd be more than willing to bet isn't the case. |

I'm sure the ratings don't depend solely on the approval of fans of B/P.

Your right, but they did say thunderdads would be happy too. |

Internet has nothing to do with me knowing where the oval office is. My home office is at crystal city in DC. We know where the building are and some of the offices.

That is one thing, but knowing where the clerics are, is another. Also you don't know what everyone in Thundera talks about. I, for one, didn't hear anyone in the crowds talk about the clerics, so saying everyone talks about them is an assumption. The internet and technology part was more for the Steelers than White house. If there was no technology, there'd be no TV, no radio, no computers. You'd have probably have never even heard of the Steelers much less know everything about them because without all the media the whole football league would be scaled down because they wouldn't have the same amount of people watching. My mother worked with a guy whoes son worked at 3 rivers stadium. That is what started it for me. Last edited by L08e16o; 02-03-2012 at 11:11 AM.. |

The palace didn't have any outside buildings. Everything was connected. It just had separate entrances. Like a mall or an apartment building.

Just like castle, churches, or temples. You might talk about their deeds, but you are going to talk about where they live. Just like the White House. It is almost as famous as the Presidents that live there. |

Heck anyone she actually asked could've looked down at her for being an orphan and told her she'd never become a cleric and refuse to tell her where it is. The people in the Thunderian slums didn't seem like the nicest bunch of people. |

I'm saying it's perfectly possible that in a huge place like Thundera someone who was an orphan might not've been taught exactly where the clerics stayed at the palace.

The people in the Thunderian slums didn't seem like the nicest bunch of people. I believe if that is someones dreams, they will try to find out everything they can about it. The clerics have been around for a long time and they are legends. People would know where they are, but that doesn't mean they could become a cleric. Jaga had no problem bringing her in. I don't think the clerics looked at people if they were noble or not. They said they will only take the best. Is it open to everyone? Jaga gave cheetara a chance. I am sure people who failed told other people about it. Just like the Seals, everyone knows them and where they are at, but doesn't mean they will take them in or should I say pass. Not really. They seem to like to space out OS characters as opposed to bringing them all in at once. The only ones I think they'd bring in all at once is either the Berserkers or the Lunataks.
